Runway Construction Update and Progress Report

Last week the runway reconstruction project started at the South end of the runway.  The South 2200 feet was displaced, along with Taxiways Charlie, Delta and Alpha (South of Charlie).

Last week, the contractors  completed the milling of 18 inches in the area that will be reconstructed.   The old runway lights have been removed in preparation for the new High Intensity Runway Lights (HIRL).
