The Town of Addison has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a site that consists of five +/- acres of land that comprise three parcels commonly known as 16103, 16115, and 16149 Dooley Road at Addison Airport in Addison, Texas. Landside, the Subject Site, is accessed via Dooley Road, which serves as the site’s primary means of ingress and egress.

Through this RFQ, the Town of Addison seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from real estate developers and commercial aeronautical operators who have the desire, interest, vision, and resources to develop a five +/- acre site for commercial aeronautical operations.  Considering the Subject Site’s size, configuration, available infrastructure, and surrounding uses, the Town of Addison finds it ideally suited for one or more commercial aeronautical facilities. The newly constructed Taxiway Bravo has been designed to accommodate Aircraft Design Group II; it should be noted that any dedicated aircraft ramps built on the Subject Site must meet or exceed a critical design weight of at least 75,000 gross pounds of take-off weight (dual wheel).

At the end of this RFQ process, the Town of Addison expects to select the respondent it believes has the qualifications that best align with its listed objectives. The Town of Addison will issue a Letter of Intent to the chosen respondent to negotiate one or more agreements for designing, constructing, and operating a new facility on the Subject Site through a long-term ground lease that complies with the Town’s existing lease standards.
